Even though they are wealthy, well-known, attractive and talented, it does not diminish the fact that they are humans, and as humans, mood disorders and ultimately, depression are sometimes inevitable. If it happens that a celebrity makes a mistake and it gets to the public, the reaction of the public to that mistake could provoke different kinds of feelings in that person. These feelings include guilt, shame and insecurity and many other feeling that could lead an individual feeling depressed.
Even more, celebrities are usually prone to certain depression causing elements such as substance abuse, sleep deprivation or disruption, extremely unbalanced work schedules and long-term unemployment.
