Amazing Firefighter Catches Child Thrown From Burning Building When Time Runs Out

An apartment building in Decatur, Georgia caught fire on January 3, trapping families including young children who were on the upper floors.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they decided to reach the upper floors using ladders to evacuate the occupants.

But before they could arrange the ladders and reach the balconies of the upper floors, terrified parents started to drop their children to the firefighter below as the fire flames were increasing every second and they thought dropping their children is the only option to save them.

One father who was clinging to the ladder at 3rd floor tossed his 5 year old child to the firefighter below and this heart stopping moment was captured on a helmet camera.

Fortunately, one of the firefighter named Captain Scott Stroup was there at the right moment to catch the child and save the life.

Other firefighter named Captain Jackie Peckrul informed that she also caught a 4 year old when was climbing up the ladder. 4 year old was also dropped from the balcony.

These firefighters say that are no heroes, but to the rest of the world, they are. Thanks to their efforts, everyone caught in the building survived.
