World Weather Changing Rapidly: Should We Be Worried?

                Today the news is wondering about, earth climate is changing rapidly. Everyone is thinking according to his thought and caliber. Some of them are saying, this climate change may result in a massive destruction of the world and some are on the saying that maybe it will be the end of the world. There are many movies that are based on predictions about world destruction because of sudden changes in climate.

In scientific notation, we can tag this whole scenario as Abrupt Climate Change. We define it as when the climate system forced to transition to a new climate state at a rate which is more rapid than the rate of change of the external forcing.

A mechanism that can lead to abrupt climate change would need to have the following characteristics:

=> A trigger or a chaotic perturbation.

=> An amplifier and globalized to spread the influence of small or local changes.

=> A source of persistence, allowing the altered climate state to last for up to centuries.

Let’s talk about some facts, directly jump to the current situation and considering all the factors like regional changes, ocean effects, and volcanism. Some scientist found some elements in the climate system. These elements are regional effects of global warming.

The present study suggested that some of these elements may have reached their critical points within this century under anthropogenic climate change. As a result of global warming, several disruptions are noticed in the pattern of events like increasing frequency, rapidly melting ice in some Global Oceans.

These sudden events will cause a more general increase of severe weather resulted in the most memorable and devastating storms. As scientists observe the impact of these Global climate changes on the environment as ice on rivers is breaking up earlier, Glaciers have shrunk and trees are flowering earlier.

These effects are resulting in loss of sea ice, due to this sea level rising and more intense heat waves. Scientist are confident about rising temperature will continue to rise, due to gases produced by human activities.

The effect of this will vary in different regions according to their temperature. Climate change will continue through this century depending on a number of heat trapping gasses released globally. Due to these gasses, growing session of plants will also increase. Scientists have agreed on the fact that most of these changes are due to human activities like burning fossil fuels to generate energy has a great impact on earth’s atmosphere.

Clearing forest is also one of its main reasons. Most dangerous impact of this is increasingly affected human health. These changes cause unhealthy air, resulting in pollution that is causing diseases. In this century we may envision more Droughts and heat waves (the heat period last for a long time) and less cold waves.

With time reduction of soil moisture will occur that will generate more heat waves. Hurricanes intensity, frequency, and duration will increase, causes of this increase are still uncertain. Some oceans are expected to become ice free before mid-century.

So, the conclusion is there is no scientific evidence and solid study that clearly stated, abrupt climate changes happens in a matter of hours or days. The truth is that climate changes are real and are already happening.

It may result in severe storms but there is no solid evidence or study found that clearly state, these climate changes will “wipe us out”. A team of scientists is working; to make advance policies to fight with abrupt climate changes, try to reduce carbon emissions and help people to adapt these changes.
